A Word Of Welcome:

  • Welcome Stampers (and wanna be stampers)!
Greetings from Richmond, Virginia. I am happy that you are visiting. All the art on this website was created using Stampin' Up!'s exclusive rubber stamps, (unless otherwise noted) and all the rubber stamp images are copyright Stampin' Up!© 1999-2007. Please browse, read, steep and enjoy. You can even CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) but just give me credit, ok? And don't even think of entering one of my designs as your own in the State Fair!!! If something here does inspire you, I hope that you will send me a picture of what you design--I love to see how ideas expand and grow. I might even post your work--with due credit, of course. Happy Stampin'

Victorian Wallpaper Bookmark

Eaves_wallpaper_bookmark_webable The colors and the design of this bookmark remind me of the wallpaper that was on the walls of my childhood bedroom.  Again, I've used images from the set Carte Postal.  By using the same color, but different stamps, I was able to create a design that was in harmony.  by layering solid colored cardstock with the design, I was able to accentuate the central design without adding too much bulk to the book mark.  The leaf design was acheived by inking the image and stamping it a few times before reinking to get degrees of ink saturation on the image.  The image layers up this way and becomes its own background.
