A Word Of Welcome:

  • Welcome Stampers (and wanna be stampers)!
Greetings from Richmond, Virginia. I am happy that you are visiting. All the art on this website was created using Stampin' Up!'s exclusive rubber stamps, (unless otherwise noted) and all the rubber stamp images are copyright Stampin' Up!© 1999-2007. Please browse, read, steep and enjoy. You can even CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) but just give me credit, ok? And don't even think of entering one of my designs as your own in the State Fair!!! If something here does inspire you, I hope that you will send me a picture of what you design--I love to see how ideas expand and grow. I might even post your work--with due credit, of course. Happy Stampin'

Time Well Spent Book Mark

Mumu_bookmark_webable This flower and leaf combination is from the Time Well Spent Hostess set.  The reason I have this great set is that Stampin' Up! decided to treat me to it for FREE--one of the great benefits of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  They treat us very, very well.

I love how the repeated leaf becomes a more geometric design when it is repeated.  These colors are a bit of a stretch for me--not the first combination for which I would reach.  It is good to stretch, don't you think?

Notice that the background for the main flower is made from two pieces of cardstock.  This is a great way to add interest subtly without adding bulk.
